BLU HYBRID 100

BLU Hybrid 100 filters feature a new 3-layer filter media design. This state-of-the-art filter media stands out in the finished filter:

  • 100 % synthetic
  • Tested according to EN779 and Ashrae 52.2
  • Low pressure drop due to laminar air flow
  • Exceptional dust holding capacity
  • Great handling because of low weight
  • Humidity resistant construction
  • Excellent stability and strength
  • No microbial growth (without any additives)

PLEAT TECHNOLOGY

BLU Hybrid 100 filters represent a new generation of filters based on a proprietary and patented pleat technology. The pleat design itself keeps the pleats apart and withstands all air velocities with a laminar air flow.

FILTER MEDIA DESIGN

All filter media types of IREMA-Filter are exclusively manufactured on production machines designed and built in-house. The proprietary manufacturing technology enables IREMA-Filter to flexibly design media out of fibers with different filtration properties. This is reflected by a great number of patented processes and products.

By the combination of different fiber types IREMA can create filter media showing a progressive 3-dimensional layered structure.

Today BLU Hybrid 100 filters utilize the most recent 3-layer design of IREMA, which means each layer features its own characteristics:

1st Layer: Prefilter layer to reach relevant dust holding capacities
2nd Layer: Proprietary technology for more filtration efficiency
3rd Layer: Fine dust filtration to capture smallest particles

FILTER MEDIA DESIGN

IREMA’s patented fiber technology utilized for our range of filtration media is the latest in “Media Configuration”. The filter media consists of 100% polypropylene, is non- shedding and features a three-dimensional media design with exceptional performance. It brings into play all the fundamental mechanical principles of particulate capture. Larger particles of dust are caught by coarse fibers on the air entering side and progressively smaller particles caught by finer fibers through the depth of the media.

PLEAT TECHNOLOGY

All the filter media of IREMA are pleated on in-house developed pleating machines. IREMA MiniPleats feature exceptional strength, efficiency, dust holding capacity and low air flow resistance as well as high durability thus supporting the energy efficiency of HVAC systems.

FRAME TECHNOLOGY

IREMA MiniPleats can be equipped with either an all plastic, high stiffness polystyrene frame or a polypropylene frame. Both frame types support the excellent flow characteristics of our MiniPleats in a high-class filter.

APPLICATIONS

IREMA PanelFilters are widely used in a variety of HVAC applications, ensuring optimum Indoor Air Quality in plants and factories. Our filters are an excellent choice for tough applications and extended service life.

The MiniPleats are available in different heights:
22, 44, 92, 145 mm

APPLICATIONS

IREMA MiniPleats, utilized in panel filters, are deployed in a variety of applications where technical reliability and a long service life are a must:

  • HVAC industry
  • Power plants
  • Industrial and commercial buildings
  • Gas Turbine Intake Systems
  • Food processing
  • Hospitals and health care facilities
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing

MACHINE TECHNOLOGY

IREMA’s filter media products are exclusively manufactured on production machines designed and built in-house. Our systems are highly automated, which leads to an excellent price-performance ratio. The specific manufacturing technology for our filter media enables us to flexibly design media out of coarse, fine and ultrafine fibers.

FILTER MEDIA

The combination of different fiber diameters allows us to design and manufacture progressive filter media. This provides the opportunity to achieve an excellent balance between filtration efficiency, air permeability and durability. By taking micro and very fine fibers (in diameters less than 1 μm) our media can capture fine and very fine particles when air is filtered. Polypropylene (PP) as the basic material has additional outstanding advantages. PP-material is hydrophobic and does not support the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria, mold and fungi.

APPLICATIONS

IREMA filter media are used in a variety of applications where
different technical features are a must:

  • Cabin Air
  • HVAC
  • Engine Air
  • Liquid Filtration
